Participation in the Colour Run costs £4 per child, with a discount available for families entering multiple siblings. Adults can also join in for £4 each. This fee goes directly toward supporting school resources and future events, so thank you in advance for your generosity.

The Friends of Hazlemere C of School Colour Run Waiver Document 
To be read through at time of booking, by parent or legal guardian of named child. 
In order for your child/children to participate in the Friends of Hazlemere C of E School (hereafter known as ‘The Friends’) Colour Run, the following must be read in full prior to the event. 
I am aged 18 years or above and wish for my child/children to participate in ‘The Friends’ Colour Run and I am the parent/legal guardian of the registered child/children who is/are under the age of 18.  
I agree that my child/children will participate in the Colour Run in accordance with the specific safety rules clearly explained by school staff/volunteers at the beginning of the challenge. 
I understand that participating in the Colour Run is a potentially hazardous activity as coloured powder (EN71 Certified) will be thrown at and around my child/children during the event and specifically carries a risk of respiratory irritation (asthma triggers) and skin/eye reactions. I understand that it is my responsibility to determine the suitability of my child/ children to take part and agree to monitor my child for signs of negative reaction on the day if they are at high risk of an adverse reaction (e.g. due to asthma)
I agree that my child/children will wear any safety equipment in accordance with the safety instructions and risk assessment. I understand that there is an advisory to wear eye protection and that sunglasses and prescription eyewear are not technically eye protection.  
I understand that the colour powder can cause staining.
Participants are expected to follow the instructions that are given to them. They must adhere to school rules show respect towards the other pupils taking part, school staff, and other parents / legal guardians. 
I confirm that my child/children is/are in good health and there are no medical impairments that may prevent them from participating in the activity. I will inform the school in advance of any known asthma, allergies, or respiratory conditions that may be affected by the powder.
I acknowledge that participation in the activity may be physically demanding and that there are risks of injury. 
I hereby indemnify ‘The Friends’ and Hazlemere C of E school against all claims made by any other person against ‘The Friends’ or Hazlemere C of E school in respect of any injury, loss or damage, arising out of or in connection with my failure to comply with the safety instructions and/or directions given by the school staff. 
I understand there will be video and photography at the event and that every effort will be taken to adhere to the existing consent parameters for each child.
By booking a child/children on to the Colour Run, I acknowledge that I have read, fully understand and agree with all of the above (Points 1-10) prior to paying.
